Examination Information
Suprapa High School conducts regular assessments and examinations to evaluate student progress and understanding. Here is general information regarding our examination system.
Types of Assessments
- Formative Assessments: Class tests, quizzes, projects, assignments, and practical work conducted throughout the academic year to monitor learning.
- Summative Assessments: Mid-Term and Annual Examinations conducted at the end of specific terms to evaluate overall performance.
- Board Examinations: Madhyamik Pariksha (Class X) conducted by WBBSE and Uccha Madhyamik Examination (Class XII) conducted by WBCHSE.
Grading System
The school follows the grading system prescribed by the respective boards (WBBSE and WBCHSE) for Classes IX-XII. For other classes, a comprehensive grading scale is used, details of which are provided in the student diary and report cards.

Promotion Policy
Student promotion to the next class is based on their overall performance throughout the academic year, including formative and summative assessments, attendance, and participation in co-curricular activities. Specific criteria for promotion are communicated to parents at the beginning of the session.
Minimum attendance requirements must be met as per board regulations.
Examination Rules & Regulations
- Students must arrive at the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Admit cards (where applicable) and school ID cards are mandatory.
- Unfair means during examinations are strictly prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action.
- Electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
