Academic Structure
Suprapa High School offers a comprehensive academic structure designed to cater to the diverse learning needs of students from primary through higher secondary levels. Our curriculum adheres to the guidelines set by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).
Sections
Primary Section (Classes I-V)
- Focuses on foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
- Introduction to Environmental Studies, English, Bengali, and Mathematics.
- Incorporates activity-based learning and co-curricular activities.
Upper Primary Section (Classes VI-VIII)
- Subjects include Languages (English, Bengali, Hindi/Sanskrit), Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), and Social Science (History, Geography).
- Introduction to Computer Science.
- Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding and application.
Secondary Section (Classes IX-X)
- Prepares students for the Madhyamik Pariksha (WBBSE).
- Compulsory subjects: First Language, Second Language, Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, History, and Geography.
- Optional Elective subjects are available.
- Focuses on board examination patterns and comprehensive learning.
Higher Secondary (Classes XI-XII)
- Prepares students for the Uccha Madhyamik Examination (WBCHSE).
- Streams Offered: Science (PCM, PCB), Commerce, and Humanities.

- Provides career counseling and guidance for future studies.
